Upcoming Changes to RW’s Print/Digital Subscription Model 

On Thursday, August 23, 2024 subscribers to Reformed Worship were sent an email announcing an exciting new chapter in RW's history as we transition from a print and digital magazine to focus solely on resourcing this website.  

We have tried to anticipate any questions you may have in the following FAQs. If after reading through these questions your question remains, please send it to editors@ReformedWorship.org.  

If your last Reformed Worship was RW 152 you can still renew. Jump down to the instructions that follow the FAQ. 
 

FAQ 

  1. I did not receive the email that was sent to subscribers, where can I get a copy? 
    You can read the email here.  

  2. When is the print/digital subscription ending?  
    The last print/digital issue will be June 2025, with RW 156.  

  3. Will you still be releasing issues digitally on a quarterly basis?
    New material will only appear on the website; there will no longer be a quarterly issue. 

  4. Why has RW decided to end the subscription-based quarterly journal?  
    While we cherish the legacy of our quarterly print/digital magazine, we believe that ending the subscription-based journal and becoming fully web-based opens a world of possibilities for our growing global readers of which you are a part. Here’s what you can look forward to: 

    • This next chapter will bring to fruition an even larger library of online worship resources and training materials. This approach will allow us to invest in making a wider range of materials available globally online at no cost to users.  

    • The focus on the website will allow us to provide full access to all articles and planning resources, consistent with the vision and approach of Reformed Worship, but without the costs associated with maintaining a subscription-based publication.  

  5. Will you still provide new content on the website?   
    While we dream about and explore the opportunities this change presents, we remain committed to continuing to publish on-line some of RW’s most appreciated features such as:   

    • Advent and Lent worship series, particularly mindful of smaller congregations

    • Articles with theological and pastoral reflections on various aspects of worship 

    • Resources for arts, music, and the dramatic reading of scripture. 

  6. I was an RW subscriber, but I forgot to renew. Is it too late?  
    To renew a subscription that ended with RW 152 see the information at the bottom of this page. For new subscriptions or renewals of subscriptions that ended before RW 152 click on “Subscribe” at the very top of this page. Renewals and new subscriptions that begin with RW 153 will be accepted till 12 AM October 1, 2024, EST.  

  7. My subscription runs out before RW 156, how do I get the rest of the print/digital issues?  
    If your subscription ended with RW 152 or earlier, see #5 above.  For those whose last issue would normally be RW 153-155, we are following the example of the parable of the workers in the vineyard (Matthew 20:1-16). Regardless of when your subscription runs out, if you are a subscriber as of October 1, 2024, you will receive all issues through RW 156.  

  8. How do I ensure I am still subscribed and will receive all the remaining print/digital issues?  
    If you have received the print issue of RW 153, and/or have not received a final renewal notice you are still a subscriber and will receive the remaining issues.  

  9. I have already renewed my subscription and am scheduled to receive more issues beyond 156. What should I do? 
    If this is the case, we will email you to schedule a refund. If you don't receive an email from us and think that you have overpaid, please reach out at subscriptions@reformedworship.org. 

One of the strengths of Reformed Worship is that so many of the resources come from churches like yours. We are grateful for the many of you who have contributed over the years and hope that you will continue to submit your resources for inclusion in the remaining print issues or the growing website. Submit now!  

If RW 152 was your last issue, please renew your subscription following the directions below. 

How to login to your account: 

  1. Go to the login page and use your username and password. 

    or 

  2. For print subscribers: go to the login page and use your zip/postal code and renewal code which is found on your print issue's address label. 

Forgot your password? 

  1. If we have an email on file for you, you may enter your email and then click “forgot password”.  At that time you will be sent an email with further instructions.  When doing this you will also be able to set up a new password that is specific only to your account, making it very easy to login in the future.

  2. For print subscribers: use your zip/postal code and renewal code found on your print issue's address label.
