Pentecost Sunday

Pentecost Sunday remembers the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on those who were gathered together. This day also reminds us of the command to go into all of the world, proclaiming the good news of Christ’s death and resurrection. Pentecost Sunday occurs fifty days after Easter Sunday and also begins the season of Pentecost. Pentecost Sunday is often seen as the beginning of the New Testament church as it lives out its mission to spread the good news of the gospel.
