CONFESSION
What is your only comfort in life and in death?
That I am not my own,
    but belong—
    body and soul,
    in life and in death—
    to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ.
He has fully paid for all my sins with
    his precious blood,
    and has set me free from the tyranny
    of the devil.
    He also watches over me in such a way
    that not a hair can fall from my head without the will of my Father in
    heaven:
    in fact, all things must work together
    for my salvation.
Because I belong to him,
    Christ, by his Holy Spirit,
    assures me of eternal life
    and makes me wholeheartedly willing
    and ready
    from now on to live for him.

Postlude
HE IS LORD
    He is Lord, he is Lord!
    He is risen from the dead
    and he is Lord!
    Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess
    that Jesus Christ is Lord!

    He is King, he is King!
    He will draw all nations to him,
    he is King;
    and the time shall be
    when the world shall sing
    that Jesus Christ is King!

    He is Love, he is Love!
    He has shown us by his life
    that he is Love;
    all his people sing
    with one voice of joy
    that Jesus Christ is Love!

    He is Life, he is Life!
    He has died to set us free
    and he is Life;
    and he calls us all
    to live evermore,
    for Jesus Christ is Life.
